About Us - Landscaping Services
A Passion Rooted in Family, Faith, and a Love for the Outdoors
The story of Horticulture Services began many years ago with a simple walk through my great-grandmother’s garden. As a young boy, I had no idea that those quiet moments spent admiring her plants and flowers would spark a lifelong passion for horticulture. What started as childhood curiosity quickly grew into a love for plants, landscape design, and the beauty of God's creation—a passion that continues to inspire me today.
Even as a teenager, I knew I wanted to turn that passion into a career. I began taking on small landscaping and maintenance jobs throughout my community while still in high school. Over time, I gained valuable hands-on experience working at a local golf course and for a landscaping company. In the late 1990s, I obtained my professional license and continued building my knowledge, skills, and experience in the horticulture industry, including irrigation services.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in many different areas of the industry, including plant brokerage, garden center management, landscape consulting, and the design and installation of projects both large and small. Each experience has helped shape my understanding of horticulture and strengthened my commitment to providing quality workmanship, knowledgeable service, and lasting results. I've always believed that experience is one of life's greatest teachers, and I continue to learn and grow with every project, especially in landscape lighting.
While horticulture is my passion, my faith and family are the foundation of everything I do. In 2005, I met my wonderful wife, Jessy, and together we have been blessed with two precious children, Beckham and Ollie. Our family is actively involved in our local church, and serving Jesus Christ is an important part of our lives.
I firmly believe that God is the reason I have the opportunity to do what I love each day. He has blessed me with a passion for His creation, the ability to work with my hands, and the opportunity to serve others through my business. I recognize Him as my ultimate provider and am incredibly grateful for the talents, experiences, and opportunities He has given me.
Horticulture Services is more than just a business to me—it's the fulfillment of a lifelong passion and an opportunity to use the gifts God has entrusted to me. My goal is not simply to create beautiful landscapes, but to build lasting relationships, serve my customers with honesty and integrity, and take pride in every project we complete, from landscape design to effective irrigation services.
To everyone who has supported me along this journey, thank you. Your trust, encouragement, and continued support mean more than you know. And to those we have yet to meet, I look forward to the opportunity to earn your trust and help bring your outdoor vision to life.
Thank you, and God bless!
